Shuffle Down Featured Act #2: Norrie McCulloch
A pleasure to introduce our 2nd featured act, Norrie McCulloch. Norrie is a singer songwriter whose music has influences of country and folk music from the 60’s/70’s and also of a more modern alt-country sound.
You may know Norrie as the spearhead of the Alt-Country Folk collective, Fireside Sessions and we are in luck as he will be bringing along some of his talented Fireside collaborators Marco Rea & Stuart Kidd (The Wellgreen) and Iain Sloan (The Wynntown Marshalls) to put on what promises to be a special show at The Dobbie Hall.
Norrie released his excellent debut album "Old Lover's Junkyard" last year which received brilliant reviews across the board. We thoroughly recommend getting your hands on a copy. You can buy the album now from his website http://www.norriemcculloch.com/ or will be some available to buy on the day at the event.
Norrie was one of the first artists to get on board with Shuffle Down last year and really helped us get the ball rolling so a big thanks from the Shuffle Down team to him.
